Tractors, planters, and farmers were finally able to get back in the fields yesterday after days of rain and soggy conditions kept them away. This photo was taken just north of Columbia City, Indiana where it was dry enough to plant corn on Wednesday afternoon.
A report from Bourbon, Indiana indicated that there was a hard frost on Sunday night, but there has been an enjoyable warm-up since then.
Conditions could get a little wet again Friday in the northern part of the state, but central and southern Indiana are expected to remain dry. Farmers are working long hours to catch up on corn planting.
