Earlier this week, Monsanto opened Agriculture’s first Water Utilization Learning Center in Gothenburg, Nebraska. The new $6 million facility is one of three Monsanto learning centers in the United States.
The 135 acre farm and learning center will be home to over 80 cropping and irrigation demonstrations, 20,000 square foot breeding station, and three conference rooms that will be equipped with state-of-the art videoconferencing capabilities. The center will eventually have the ability to conduct virtual tours of other Monsanto properties and centers. Get a more in depth look at what the learning center has to offer here.
The center will be open by appointment during the summer for tours. For more information on the Water Utilization Learning Center, check out the press release issued by Monsanto. Also, to see the building process of the learning center, have a look at these photos.
