The American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture, in cooperation with the AFB Women’s Leadership Committee, has awarded 23 $500 mini-grants to communities across the nation. The grants will be used to create or continue funding for Ag education programs in the selected communities.
According to the press release, 23 communities received the $500 mini-grants. “Through the mini-grant program, counties and states are assisted in their efforts to educate students about the many facets of today’s modern production agriculture,” said Dan Durheim, director of program development and coordinator of the AFB Foundation for Agriculture.
