The third day of the Topeka Farm Show will be cut short due to bad weather that made its way into Kansas last night and early this morning. Show organizers made the decision this morning to end the show at 1:30 p.m. on the third and final day. While they hated to end the show early, the safety of exhibitors and attendees were the primary concern. For more information on closings, check out a local Kansas news channel.
Even though day three had to be cut short, overall the show was still very successful. Day two proved to be a very busy day at the show, despite the threat of bad weather. The show is always open late, 8 p.m., on the second day to allow those who can’t attend during the day an opportunity. While the snow and bad conditions moved into the area mid-afternoon, the show was busy until about an hour before closing time.
