Wisconsin Farm Technology Days ended prematurely Thursday morning when the Executive Committee decided to close the show at 10 a.m. due to heavy rains and localized flooding.
Heavy morning rains have filled the grounds with water, and visitors are no longer being allowed into parking areas.
A spokesman from the publicity trailer said an announcement was made that because of the heavy waters, electricity to the site is being shut down, but exhibitors, volunteers and visitors are to stay onsite until conditions allow them to leave.
FTD Executive Secretary Greg Andrews said organizers are working with exhibitors to help them close their displays.
Gates opened at 9 a.m. as usual, but the Sheriff’s Department only allowed visitors to park along ditches.
