Fastline Publications, founded in 1978 is dedicated to quality truck and equipment advertising in print and online. Our publisher, Bill Howard, started his first truck publication, the Kentucky Truck Trader (later known as the Bluegrass Trucker) serving the trucking industry in Kentucky. The first issue was mailed in July 1978.
Three years later, the company that would become Fastline had grown to five trucking industry publications. Advertiser and reader response indicated strong interest and support in similar advertising publications.
The company started looking for other industries to serve with our style of trade publication. In 1986, we purchased the Ohio Fastline and the Indiana Fastline, two agricultural trade publications with similar formats to our truck publications. These were the first of many farm trade publications that we would produce under the name Fastline Publications.
In 1996, Fastline acquired MCW Printing, a commercial printing company, allowing us the capability to print our Fastline magazines. We continue to grow and now have twenty-eight trucking, farm and construction equipment related magazines, made up of twenty-two farm publications and six truck publications and one international magazine in Mexico.
Now on the internet, our website, www.fastline.com, makes contacting us a breeze and puts useful information on equipment in the farming and trucking industry at your fingertips. Advertising can be purchased online, as well as other services such as farm websites and banner advertising.
