GVM Incorporated once again, hosted an open house, more commonly known as “Field Day”. This one day event is known to draw large crowds of customers who come to ride and drive their equipment, earn certification points for fertilizer, learn about newest technologies and enjoy a catered lunch, and some door prizes.
This year was no different, though they did battle with some chilly, rainy weather and lots of mud. The weather conditions didn’t stop nearly 150 customers from attending or the Prowlers from running!
This year, GVM was excited to present the newest combo units, the E-Series Prowler. Built on the success of last year’s model, the E350 Prowler, in conjunction with customers’ suggestions, GVM launched this series to provide customers with an even bigger machine, even more operator comfort, more brawn to get through the roughest fields and more intelligence to eliminate down time. This year’s models feature the same, forward-mounted, Air Ride Cab with floor to ceiling glass, 32 inches of crop clearance, Variable Coil Spring Suspension, and electronic monitoring system providing machine diagnostic and gauges on a screen and AgriWAVE by GVM AgJunction. The series will feature three different models, to fit each customer’s specific needs, varying only in the drive train and wheelbase.
In addition to introducing our newest products and technologies, Field Day also gave customers an opportunity to ride and drive some of the industry’s leading equipment, including GVM Prowler and Predators, and AGCO’s SpraCoupes, visit with our vendors, including: Banjo, Mid State Tanks, Norwesco, Pacer Pumps, Raven, Schaeffer Oil,TeeJet and ZF Industries.
Customers also had an opportunity to earn certification points with Raven, and enjoy a catered lunch, and meet the GVM team. During our parade of equipment, Mark Anderson, President and Owner, along with Tom Ulrich, GVM Engineering and Manufacturing Manager introduced the GVM line-up and highlighted some key features of each machine. Paul Knecht, AGCO Regional Sales Manager did the same for the AGCO line of equipment.
GVM’s Field Day is one of their biggest days of the year. President and Owner, Mark Anderson, remarks, “Field Days are always an exciting event for us, they give us a day to show our appreciation for our customers, to listen to what they have to say and to also let them know what they can expect from GVM in the future.”
GVM prides itself on being a company that listens to their customers and designs products to suit their needs. The past 30 years of their success and growth has been a result of the relationships they have developed with so many loyal customers over the years.
